Natural Honey: Not only moisturizing, but honey has been proven effective in helping to heal cuts, burns, insect bites and quite a few skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis as well as fungal infections. Grape Seed Oil: One of the least greasy oils! Ideal for those with oily skin. Grape seed is also for those with skin sensitivities because of its non-allergenic properties.. Apricot Kernel Oil: Suitable for sensitive and prematurely aged skin. Smooths, softens and protects skin. Very rich, and soothing. Jojoba Oil: Is actually a liquid wax. It’s a hypoallergenic oil. It’s unique chemical makeup mimics the sebum (oils) naturally present on human skin. According to the International Jojoba Export Council, it’s a natural carrier of Vitamin E and a natural antioxidant. It’s also an extremely efficient moisture regulator, penetrating the skin to moisturize without blocking the pores. Lanolin: The composition of lanolin is very similar to oils found in human skin, and therefor lanolin is a wonderful humectant. Among the many positive features of lanolin, one of the most outstanding is the ability to catch and hold water. This feature allows for the moisturizing and emollient effect Pure lanolin is obtained without harming the sheep - as opposed to emu oil, which is gathered by killing the bird. Lanolin is a near-perfect skin softener and emollient. Organic Goat's Milk Powder: Goat’s milk is a natural emollient that helps soothe and moisturize the skin. It contains vitamins A, B6, B12 and E. Goat’s milk has 3 times more beta-casein than cow’s milk. Caseins are easily absorbed into the skin and allow for quick hydration of dry skin. The content of triglycerides, capric, caprylic and caproic acid helps balance the skin’s natural pH and promotes natural exfoliation of dry skin.) Shea Butter Easily penetrates the skin, allowing skin to breathe without clogging pores. It contains high concentrations of linoleic acid, which provide skin protection at a cellular level, as well as vitamins A, E, and F, which protect against premature wrinkles. Vitamin F in shea butter also soothes rough, dry, or chapped skin. Shea butter can also help conditions like eczema, lesser burns, and acne, and stretch-mark prevention during pregnancy.
