Yet here I am sitting in my nice quiet house. The kids are asleep resting up for another day of school and I find myself wanting to get my thoughts down. Whether anyone finds them interesting enough to read through is not for me to say...only to write!

3-17-09 Gads where has the time gone? Ah well, busy me has just filled another order from Simple Living Homes, plus I'm trying to get ready for the craft show in Safety Harbor this Friday AND I was just hired to make guest soaps for a bed and breakfast in Tampa called Equus Meadow Inn! Whew, today I came up with a new way to make the Basil Sage Mint, so cute I actually made chunks full of ground basil and added those right before I poured, I think it looks better, blends more with the Basil Sage picture in my head. Wait until I add the new pics!

My Tequila Sunrise soap is finally cured! I was so inspired by a friend/client whom I'd done a large custom order for last week and she was so excited to get them I suppose it worked it's way through my system and Tequila Sunrise was born. Heh, it's probably the prettiest soap I've made with it's light peach color and darker swirls of orange...and the smell! I will do my best to describe it, an orange strong enough to make your mouth water, sweet sweet undertones of tangerine and a hint of tart, pure sweet summer comes to mind. Of course my camera is on the fritz (a problem I hope to take care of tomorrow)so not pictures yet, here's the kicker though. I have so few bars, I'm not sure I can duplicate the smell again!! Ok I've had to laugh over that. For those of you who happen to be scratching your heads by now. My Tequila Sunrise is one of my all herbal bars. And since I was experimenting with scents I don't exactly remember HOW much of what I put in. What I KNOW is I added, Orange EO, Tangerine EO, Lemon EO a tad bit of Peppermint EO and something else! YES I know should've written it down...and I did...mostly. I do know I sure better figure out how to get that scent because family and friends have been ooh la la'ing over it, even my mother was reluctant to let it go!! Now that's saying something!
