Apple Pie To me
an Apple Pie is like those Norman Rockwell paintings that quite a few of us remember in the
Saturday Evening Post. I'm not sure which was my favorite. The family sitting down to dinner or
the family walking into a house with their arms loaded with presents. The home town the
camaraderie, all the charm, love and fun of times past.

Cinnamon Smell
that wonderful spicy scent of Cinnamon? Well now we need to head to Sri Lanka!
Sri Lanka is where the first cinnamon trees were ever recorded in history, yes cinnamon
comes from trees! So sit back a spell and let's head to Aida Hotel in Bentota.
A fantastic restaurant so I'm told, over looking the Bentota river. Beside curry dishes that
make the mouth water, I'm aiming for a nice cup of tea with cinnamon. Not the cinnamon found
here in the states, I'm talking about Ceylon cinnamon, which isn't as strong as the Cassia
cinnamon found back home. I'm dreaming about sitting back in my chair, the charming waiter
bringing me a nice cup of cinnamon tea. Can you smell the delicious pungent aroma, making your
mouth water? Does your mind wander to sitting beside a fire all cuddled in a blanket as snow
swirls outside the window? Quick take a small sip for me!

Georgia Peach
Who hasn't been to a county fair? If you haven't I'd suggest you find your nearest one quick!
Picture Fort Valley in Peach County, Georgia. A beautiful small town community getting ready
for their annual peach festival. Can you feel the excitement in the air. As thousands of travelers
wait to get in?
Craft vendors, artists and all manor of country charm, as you walk down the sidewalks. Can
you just see yourself mouth watering waiting in line for a piece of the worlds largest peach
cobbler? The smell alone is like perfume, perhaps as you stroll along you might even stop to
watch chalk artists painting on the sidewalks. What a beautiful day!

Let's head on over to the Milk & Honey Cafe in Costa Mesa! Open the doors and sidle on up to
the counter for one of their milk & honey specials! Does this not look delicious? A dollop of
frozen yogurt (your flavor choice) a scoop of shaved ice with milk, honey and your choice of
syrup. Are you getting hungry yet? Topped of with diced kiwi, mango and strawberry. What a
creamy, tangy treat!!

Orange Cinnamon Oranges and Cinnamon all mixed together. Why don't we stay home today and
make this oh so tempting dish? It's not hard really, you soften up the ice cream while I take out
the jar of oranges that have been soaking up sweet sugary cinnamon mix all night. Grab some
pretty bowls for me. Now don't stand so close over my shoulder! Yes the oranges and cinnamon
smell devine! Let's sit and eat yummy spoonfuls by the pool shall we? Can't you just taste the
cinnamon, swirling around the vanilla bean and soft oranges. Oh what a tasty snack!!

I live in Florida so it's not so far a stretch for me to go to see beautiful Plant City strawberry
fields! Let me, if I may describe them to you. Warm Florida Sunshine, a nice breeze blowing and
your smack dab in the middle of a strawberry field!
Can you smell the slightly herby leaves as the breeze blows by you? Look around, nothing
in sight for acres but the pristine raised rows of strawberries. Why don't you reach down and find
a ripe one. Can you feel the little tiny hairs tickle your lips right before you take a bite? Mmm
warm, sweet and juicy. Like sunshine wrapped into a berry!
